Education

  • 1996 Balochistan Evening Tution Centre at Dera Allah Yar was established.
  • 1996 English Language Centre at Dera Allah Yar for boys & girls was established.
  • 1998 a Primary School was established for boys and girls at Dera Allah Yar.
  • 1999 Primary School at Sohbbat Pur was established.
  • 1999 Balochistan Education Foundation funded for promotion of Education.
  • 2000 Primary School at Bagan Baba colony, Jaffarabad was established.
  • 2001 two computer centers were established, one at Dera Allah Yar and one at Sohbat pur.
  • 2001 another English Language Center was established at Sohbat Pur.
  • 2003 Dera Allah Yar School was upgrade to Metric Level and Sohbat pur to Middle Level.
  • 2003 to more Primary Schools were established one at Irrigation colony Dera Allah Yar and one at Manjhi Pur with the help of TVO.
  • 2003 SEPRS was invited to send a delegate to participate in the workshop conducted for Basic Education funded by European commission.
  • 2007-2008 Two Primary Schools were established funded by Balochistan Education Foundation (BEF) One at Dera Allah Yar District Jaffarabad, One at Goth Jagan Khan Umrani District Naseerabad.





Health

Reproductive Health:



  • 2001 MCH center was established with the help of Dr, Rabia Khosa at Dera Allah Yar for Gymea + obs care , treatment and health education (awareness of Reproductive organ diseases , family planning , Antenatal , natal and post natal management ).
  • 2004 SEPRS joined Catalyst (International consortium) for Social mobilization and awareness activities regarding Reproductive health and Optimal Birth Spacing (OBSI).
  • 2007- 2008 Pakistan Initiative for Mothers & Newborn (PAIMAN) Project started funded by USAID to increase awareness & promote positive maternal & neonatal health behaviors.

Free Medical Camps:
  • 1996 three free medical camps were organized at Dera Allah Yar, Bhag (District Bolan) and one at Thul (Sindh).
  • 1998 – Two medical camps were organized one at Dera Allah Yar and second at Manjhi Pur.

Free Eye Camp:
  • 1999 Free Eye Camp was organized at Dera Allah Yar with the help of Society for Prevention and care of Blindness, 180 patients were operated.

Rehabilitation:
  • 2004 SEPRS Rehabilitation Center for Physical Disabled Persons was established at Dera Allah Yar with the help of Physical disabled Rehabilitation Center Peshawar.

Drug Abuse Prevention:
  • 1997 SEPRS joined DANISH Network (project duration 1997 to 1999). Other network members were SEPRS – Jaffarabad, LAFAM – Loralai, PAK PUBLIC Development Society Bolan, MILO Trust – Quetta TANZIM NOJAWAN – Huda Quetta), the project was funded by Oxfam (UK based international NGO)& European Union, the project was on prevention, propagation (awareness), treatment and rehabilitation along with support to the Families of addict persons. 
Environment and Natural Conservation
  • 1998 Environment and nature conservation activities were under taken Tree Plantation were done with the help of FOREST DEPARTMENT at Dera Allah Yar and City CLEANLINESS week was observed by holding meetings with Community members.
  • 1999 – 2000 Solid waste management Project, funded by Environmental Protection agency – EPA Balochistan was under taken.

Gender and Development:


  • 2000 Aurat Foundation and SEPRS Launched campaign violence against women, Women Empowerment movement was activated.
  • 2000 women Development Community organization (WDCO), wing of SEPRS was formed to enable the women to solve their issues by their own efforts. Loan to women for small business venture for income generation was activated through National Bank; free grants were facilitated through Batul – mal and Zakat funds, every year. Funds were given to the poor people till now. 300 male and female beneficiaries have been enrolled.
  • 2002 Vocational Center for women under income generation plan was established at Dera Allah Yar, The center is running with success having enrolment of SIXTY women at present, in the center women get training of cutting, sitting and embroidery.
  • 2002 Women Empowerment: two FEMALE COUNCILORS (members of SEPRS – women wing) were elected as part of political consciousness.
  • 2004 SEPRS carried out campaigns and social mobilization in Jaffarabad District as member of District Action Committee for Violence against Women (HONOUR KILLING).

Youth

  • 1997 Body Building Club was established at Dera Allah Yar for the youth.

Research & Survey



  • 2003 Multiple indicator cluster survey was carried – out at District Jhal Magsi, Jaffarabad and Kohlu (P&D Department Government of Balochistan and UNICEF provided the funds).


Publications:
  • 2000 Monthly magazine publication comprising of SEPRS monthly activities reports, social events, local news and views of the people was started. Publication still going on regularly.
