About Us

Society for Education Promotion & Rural Support (SEPRS) is a “non-profit”, non-political, non-ethnical, non-political non-governmental registered organization. SEPRS has been working in balochistan since 1996 on basic human rights (education, health, shelter, equality, protection, clean water, food and hygiene, good governance and peace).

SEPRS believes in peace and contributing towards building the civil society institutions marginalized groups for a better social political change to empower the masses. SEPRS has a group of sound volunteer professionals in its board who give direction to mainstream the activities towards sustainable development.

SEPRS has developed partnerships and associations with public and private sector organizations to complement and supplement each other’s strengths and resources for achieving the common goals. SEPRS strength lies in its highly qualified, experienced and dedicated team with ability to adapt innovative approaches towards achieving sustainable development.

Mainstreaming of minorities and marginalized, Gender, HIV/AIDS, Environment and Disaster Risk Reduction are the crosscutting themes in all projects of SEPRS.

OBJECTIVES

  • To ensure the protection and promotion of fundamental human rights, including the rights to education, health and safe living conditions, for all individuals in Balochistan.
  • To enhance the quality of education by improving the capacity of teachers, educational institutions and learning resources.
  • To strengthen community health systems by integrating traditional and modern healthcare practices and fostering partnerships with local health authorities.
  • To address the root causes of conflict and violence through community-based initiatives that promotes social cohesion and justice.
  • To advocate for the equitable access to basic human needs, such as clean water, food, shelter and health care, essential rights for every person.
  • To enhance community resilience and preparedness through capacity-building initiatives and disaster risk reduction strategies.
  • To facilitate the development of sustainable livelihoods through vocational training, entrepreneurship, and access to microfinance.
  • To support initiatives that address climate change, reduce pollution and promote the restoration of ecosystems in balochistan.


PHILOSOPHY

Sustainable rural development is a dynamic process posing various needs at different phases of time. These can be dealt with continuous interventions based on designed frameworks that incorporate the requirements projected by the communities and with the help of the communities by strategizing for public-private partnership.
